The Problem with families in societies.
In a person’s family life.
The age of zero to twelve, is called as balyavastha (childhood 0-12).
From twelve to twenty-four, it’s Brahmacharya (bachelor 12-24).
From twenty-four to forty-eight, it’s either grahastha (married 24-48) or it’s Sanyasi.
From forty-eight to sixty, it’s again Sanyasi (Seeking knowledge for healing 48-60).
From sixty to eighty-four, it’s vanaprasta (living in forest 60-84).
0-12 age.
Development of body and brain by playing.
12-24 age.
Development of discipline in body and mind.
Severity of clashes is when the Children’s age is of twenty-four to forty-eight (24-48) grahastha ashrama.
This happens because their parents don’t accept the age of forty-eight to sixty as sanyasa (Seeking knowledge for healing 48-60). Going away to different institutions, for male and female, on spiritual sadhana.
The elderly after forty-eight, instead of going away, or vacating the space, or transferring the power to youngsters, they send the youngsters (24-48) away to Universities or to earn their living, to be self independent.
The solution is that. The elderly must learn to step back by transferring the power to the youngsters.
The elders must display wisdom and experience.
The elders have to learn as they get older, level of wisdom and insight, to facilitate and help the youngsters to control and lead the future life. By providing the guidance.
Youngsters are looking up to elders for their insight and wisdom to control the future life.
By doing this they can both live peacefully. The option of vanaprasta is open after sixty.
The youngsters must learn to occupy the space, power to take responsibility.
The older family members don’t want to vacate their space of dominating over the younger family members.
The commanding elder family members must realise that they are getting older and might die. As death is unpredictable. It’s more likely in the elderly than the younger family members.
The elderly members must live in such a way that the younger must respect them with gratitude. With good principles of healing and justice.
Especially in elephants, the fight is between younger and elderly for domination. For not vacating the space. Because animals want to control with power, to dominate.
This is why they created a concept in ancient India called as Varnashrama Dharma.
My age of thirties.
